The President of Russia is in freefall

 Thirty months into the battle, Russian President Vladimir Putin has seen a significant blow to his reputation in Kursk.




It is agreed upon by official sources interviewed by the independent press, Western analysts, and Russian military bloggers that Moscow will need several months to force hostile soldiers off its soil.



The courageous Ukrainian operation has overtaken the obvious Russian advances in the Donbas, where it is evident that Ukrainian forces are withdrawing.


The Kremlin-aligned Public Opinion Research Center claims that since the start of the alleged "special" military campaign 2.5 years ago, Putin's reputation has taken the biggest hit.



Six days after the start of the Ukrainian incursion, on August 12, the poll was conducted. The results show that the president's approval rating fell by 3.5%, from 77.1% to 73.6%, in the preceding week.
