At the Home Run Derby, Ingrid Andress messes up the National Anthem performance.

After Ingrid Andress performed the "Star-Spangled Banner" less than flawlessly, Twitter went wild. The Grammy-nominated country music performer led the nation in song during the 2024 Home Run Derbyy on Monday at Arlington's Globe Life Field. Online users criticized her performance.

Experienced vocalist Andress, who has opened for major acts like Keith Urban and Stevie Nicks in the past, was captured on camera missing a few notes during her performance of the national anthem. Online, viewers made comparisons between this and Fergie's mistaken performance of the song during the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.

"Well, that anthem certainly had people thinking. Sung by Ingrid Andress," said one of her performances' extensively shared posts.

"My ears are bleeding profusely. Someone else said, "One of the worst renditions of the national anthem ever."
