Russi: 80 Ukrainian drone strikes are repulsed, and an oil terminal is on fire.

On Monday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that many Ukrainian drone strikes were thwarted by its air defenses in several different regions.

Eighty drones were captured and destroyed in six districts, the Ministry reported on the messaging app Telegram.

Tuapse, a port city on the Black Sea, reported many explosions.

The Ministry claims that a massive fire broke out in an oil processing facility owned by the massive energy company Rosneft as a result of debris from an intercepted drone.

Although no casualties were reported, the attack was hailed by Ukrainian media as a success for Kiev's military intelligence services because the complex is crucial to Russia's military campaign in that country.

The plant has apparently been the subject of prior Ukrainian strikes and houses a sizable oil terminal.
According to Russian officials, the fire has been put out.

Another 47 drone strikes were detected over the Crimean peninsula, which Moscow annexed in 2014, while further drone strikes were caught over the Rostov region in southern Russia.

For over two years, Ukraine has been repelling the Russian invasion.

Though the harm it has inflicted is thought to pale in comparison to the number of Russian attacks in Ukraine, it has regularly attacked military installations on Russian soil.
