The Signs That You're Drinking Enough Water

Water is essential for controlling body temperature and for carrying nutrients throughout the body. The recommended daily intake of water varies based on factors such as age, activity level, medication, food, and weather. Nonetheless, authorities advise a healthy adult should consume approximately two liters, or eight 8-ounce glasses, of water each day.

Examining the color and frequency of your urination are excellent indicators of your water intake. It's typical to urinate every two hours, but if you're only urinating every six, you're not drinking enough water. An indication that you are drinking too much water is the need to urinate every thirty minutes.

You are probably dehydrated if your urine is dark yellow, and if it is light yellow. You are sufficiently hydrated if your skin pops back into place fast. You are dehydrated if it takes a few seconds for everything to return to normal. Fatigue, lightheadedness, and dizziness are further indicators of dehydration.
